It is a strategy whereby co-op members duplicate a certain item instead of crafting them. This requires at least 3 co-op members.
This trick/strategy may have been born due to the most often unrealistic needs of Eddie aka Greedy Eddie.
Everyone must have experienced being required to gather 75 x 3 Strawberries or produce 12 Champagnes. This takes a lot of time to gather or produce.
This strategy is the solution but it requires teamwork so you'd better find a very helpful co-op out there. Lucky for me, mine is!
Here's how it is done:
Requirements:
- At least 3 co-op members including you
- One of you has at least 1 of the item you wish to clone
Steps:
- Ask politely whether someone has time to help you.
- The one who has the item posts it and notifies everyone at the chat.
- The other members opens their co-op market and checks out whether it has been posted (Don't buy just yet).
- The other members confirm in the chat that they see the item in the market.
- When every participating member has already confirmed, they can all buy the item.
- Afterwards, one of them re-posts the item and the steps are repeated until the required quantity of item is reached.
From Steps 4 to 6, the buying members should not refresh the co-op market or exit the chat or else this strategy will not work because the item will be marked as SOLD.
Whether this is a cheat or a strategy is up for you to decide.
As of the time of posting, this strategy still works.
In my opinion, The FV2 developers may patch this in the future but I think it would require a little bit more phone/tablet resources to force the co-op market to refresh every time somebody buys from it. They might think twice before doing so.
how does this work? it's not making sense. if you're purchasing an item you're buy an item and than reselling the same single item. not multiple items. or I am confused.
ReplyDeleteIt works by keeping chat/co-op market tab open until you buy. Generally people say "c" to say they have sen the item. Once everyone participating has seen it, everyone can then buy the same posted item. Putting the item for sale as "co-op exclusive" means only your co-op members can buy it.

DeleteI don't get how this works because my coop and market won't stay open at the same time

DeleteOmg...they will stay open..just dont refresh or click back on your farm

Deletefrom last few month I cant able to participate cloning as my market continuesly refreshes somehow so when I try to buy a cloning item it says sold out as i clicked. why is this happening?
DeleteMine is doing the same thing.
DeleteMine is doing the same thing.why?
DeleteSame with me
DeleteIn my CoOp once everyone has the item everyone post at the same time , then looks for all items says see , once everyone says c then we buy and post again .It cuts cloning time in half . With enough people you can get a good amount in less than 4 rounds .
DeleteNot sure how this works, but it does. You get everyone in your co-op to agree to sell one thing, then you keep reposting and buying. eventually everyone will have more than they originally bought. if you have a great co-op, like I do, then it works great for everything

Deletethis is not the same as whats happening in my coop. one of our members can "buy" an item, and it does not show as sold in the stall and she can keep refreshing and buying the item over and over.she can take one quartz and turn it into 10 She has no idea how this happened or how to get rid of it. no other members participation required except to post the item for her to " buy". any thoughts?
DeleteMy friend in my co op gts this too..she calls it her "magic" lol
DeleteI hate to sound geeky but I think it works like this:
ReplyDeleteOnce each player open their co-op market, the game fetches the data (item names, cost, items you own, items your friends own, etc.) from FV2 server, copies the data and displays the list on each of the player's device.
Once displayed, the game cuts off connection from the FV2 server until someone presses the refresh button. While on this state, FV2 server has no way of knowing who bought what item. So every player you was able to see the items will be able to buy them.
Afterwards, if the players closes their coop markets or presses the refresh button, the game updates the player's item on the FV2 server not knowing that several players bought the same item.
After all of these procedures, the players who participated each has the same item which they can either sell to the one who needed it or keep it for themselves.
IMO, it might be difficult for the game developers to fix this unless of course they remove the coop market altogether or disable offline mode. Well, who knows, right? Maybe they will find a way (I sure hope not). :)

ReplyDeleteCan I 'accidentally' do this? If someone posts something for someone else and I open market see the item wait 20 secs for original person to buy. Would I show up as the buyer? Or would the 'first' person be seen by seller?

DeleteWhoever buys it first will show up as the buyer
DeleteWhoever buys it first will show up as the buyer
DeleteYes just accidentaly fell upon it when first came on the game long ago, then came back on this past month and found out about it...saw it was an actual strategy and can be planned. just got a bunch of clay for thee plane (eddie) because of it. Basically the "geeky" reply is right, the server disconnects for a sec and doesn't realize a bunch of people have bought the same item... I think since people use to be able to accidentaly do it...and now they can do it strategically...I don't think it's going to be blocked by fv...it would take a lot of server action for them to do that and already the servers are overran. If they did stop it, they need to make it easier to browse the globe market (server makes it hard to scroll...especially on windows games)...

ReplyDeletehow can you keep the chat and market open at the same time ...
ReplyDeleteif you go to the market to check ant then you go to chat to type that its there when you go back to the market wont it be refreshed on its own.. since the other coop members will buy them
as long as the panel is open, the chat and market are open. just don't close the panel and you can switch back and forth as needed. The panel will not refresh unless you close it or tell it to refresh
DeleteSO I have been playing on my Kindle Fire HD and now all of a sudden during cloning it gives me "item already bought" and I cannot buy. Anyone know why??
ReplyDeleteNO, I am not closing or refreshing the panel!! It has always worked before until just a few days ago.
I am having exact same problem...have you gotten any answers to this?

App Development Company should be able of doing a complete web development and web design activities. There are some companies which will offer only front end designing by using web designers and some of them will have only web developers who will code the back end with high quality but they will have very little knowledge in front end designing.

ReplyDeleteIs there a way to clone on the mobile app? It's not possible keep two tabs open with it.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't work anymore...
ReplyDeleteit still works on my end. it maybe that you need to buy first.
ReplyDeleteWhat happens it that each person can buy the one item at once because it the market will not refresh as soon as someone purchases the item. So it will be one item buy when each person buys at the same time it becomes more than one and you can do this process multiple times with many items.
